The 2008 FFA Humboldt/Del Norte Section Project Competition Awards Banquet sponsored by American AgCredit was held on May 13, 2008, at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka. Jeff Mason, junior and member of Arcata FFA, was announced as the Division II winner and presented with a plaque and $300 cash award. Sophomore Hannah Lovfald of Eureka FFA was chosen as the Division I winner and was the recipient of a plaque.

The $500 American AgCredit Scholarship was presented to the outstanding senior participant, Teal Moore of Eureka FFA. Teal plans to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo this fall with a major in Forestry and Natural Resources and a minor in Animal Science.
