An 18-year-old Eureka man was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly breaking into his former girlfriend’s home and assaulting her and another female, the Eureka Police Department reported.
EPD officers responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Union Street on a report of a burglary in progress, an EPD news release stated. Arriving officers arrested Leonel N. Ngiratechekii on suspicion of multiple charges, including burglary, domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats and assault and battery, the EPD stated.
“Investigating officers found that he had forced his way into a former girlfriend’s home and proceeded to assault her and another female at the scene,” the EPD stated.
