Fred Leslie III went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2008. Fred was born April 18, 1947, in Stockton, Calif., but has always called Humboldt County his home.

Fred is survived by his wife Sandra Leslie, his brother Jack Leslie, Sister Charlene, his three sons Jim Leslie, Paul Leslie and Mark Adriaens and his seven grandchildren. Fred was an avid member of BACA, taught First Aid and CPR, was a Vietnam Veteran, and loved to ride his Harley. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Arcata, 2450 Alliance Rd, at 7 p.m. on Saturday July 5, 2008. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Humboldt BACA chapter in memory of “Too Tall.”
