There’s no place like Oz

Tofu and Chitlins

David Isley has been playing American roots music for almost 40 years on banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and Hawaiian guitar. He has opened for such diverse acts as John Mayall, Queen Ida, the Foghorn Stringband, and Tom Paxton. He has been playing solo and in various groupings on the North Coast for more than 20 years. His blues musings focus on rural antebellum styles through to Depression-era recordings.

CenterArts announces lineup for 2008-09 season

CenterArts warns people not to purchase event tickets from secondary sellers

It has come to CenterArts’ attention that Web sites such as www.ticketluck.com are selling tickets to CenterArts events at more than five times the face value. CenterArts stated in a release that it is not sure how the companies plan to acquire the tickets, since tickets from some of the events listed have not been assigned or mailed to patrons. They might be scalpers or it might be a scam.
